Express Line
A corporate website for an international Czech Republic — Croatia passenger carrier that works like a live schedule, not an online business card.
Express Line is a passenger carrier that has been driving people between the Czech Republic and Croatia since 2014. They came to us with a problem typical for carriers: a ten-year-old business-card website with no schedule, no booking, no English version. All requests went into messengers. All questions about routes and prices went to the dispatcher by phone.
The brief sounded simple: "make it so a person can check the schedule and book a seat themselves, without a phone call". Everything else — translations, design, content — we untangled together as we went.
Ten weeks on the project, four of them on the integration with the booking system, in which the operator was tracking seats manually in Excel.

First season
For the first time in the company's ten years of operation, the dispatcher stopped picking up the phone before lunch. The client says it feels like magic, but magic is just engineering carried through to the end.
I thought we were building "a new website". Turns out we built a new company.
